About your trip

5- Day Yukon River Standup Paddleboard Adventure

Step into the wild heart of Canada’s North on an unforgettable 5-day standup paddleboarding expedition down the historic Yukon River. From Whitehorse to Carmacks, you’ll glide 200 km through pristine wilderness, where the pace of the river carries you past towering boreal forests, rich wildlife habitats, and remnants of the Klondike Gold Rush.

Each day, you’ll paddle smooth stretches of jade-green water, explore quiet side channels, and camp along remote riverbanks under endless northern skies. Evenings bring hearty meals cooked over an open fire, stories shared around camp, and the simple peace that comes from being far from roads and cities.

Who is this trip for?

This river expedition is a great step up from our Nisutlin RIver trip.or if you have previous technical river paddling skills. Tent and sleeping bag rentals are available in Whitehorse if you require. If you are still not sure if this trip is right for you, just give Norm a call or send him an email.
